Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or so they say! My husband and I love breakfast foods and it is the meal that we love to eat out. We love to try different breakfast locations and here are our 3 favorites in Gulf Breeze. The list is in no particular order. So, feel free to pick the spot that will fulfil your breakfast cravings.

Buenos Dias Café
If you are an early riser and you are looking for a restaurant open early, this is your sign to try Buenos Dias Café. They serve Mexican fusion breakfast and brunch. My husband and I both love their breakfast burritos. I ordered the breakfast burrito with potato, eggs and cheese. He adds bacon to his. They come with red and green sauce that make each bite even better. To go with the burritos, we always order coffee, and they have the best! I have ordered both the café con leche and the café to olla. They are both great, but the café de olla is my favorite. Be sure to get a to go cup for the ride home or wherever you plan to go after breakfast!
If you are in a hurry, they have grab and go burritos and coffee as well.

Chirps
Chirps offers sweet and savory comfort foods for breakfast, brunch and lunch with a full bar. I always start off with an order of Croissant Beignets to split with my husband before the meal. They are so tummy and explode powdered sugar all over the place if you try to eat them in multiple bites. You can add even more sweetness by asking for a side of honey to dip them in, although they do have honey below all the powdered sugar as well.
For the main course I love their omelets. I generally order their Veggie Omlette. The tater tots are a great side item, but their seasoned potatoes are very good as well.
If you are looking for something on the sweet side, their pancakes are excellent. I usually try whatever pancakes are on special the day we are dining there, and I have never been disappointed.

Breeze Donuts and Kolaches
If you want to grab something to take home with you, try Breeze Donuts and Kolaches for breakfast. The glazed donuts and donut holes nearly melt in your mouth as you are eating them. My other favorite is their powdered donuts. They are not the typical cake donut, but rather a glazed donut then covered in powdered sugar. They are a must try. If you prefer something savory, try one of their kolaches. The Conecuh kolache is my husband’s favorite.
Although their hours say they are open until 1pm, get there early because once they sell out, they shut their doors.
